The Digital Fauré Songs Edition

Fauré was the first master of the French art song, and his work remains at the core of that repertory.  The Digital Fauré Songs Edition is the most complete edition of his works for solo voice ever assembled in a single collection.  A number of the lower voice transpositions in the collection are not available elsewhere and are useful in a vocal studio with young basses and baritones whose upper extensions are not fully developed.  The DFSE has fully linked Table of Contents and Key List pages arranged by opus number.  An additional set of fully linked indices arranged alphabetically is also included.  Each song has been modeled on respected typeset editions (See Sample), and all transpositions have been carefully reworked to be legible.  Each song in the DFSE has an embedded midi file that will play when double clicked if your computer has a default player assigned to midi files.  While crude, the midi files can give the user a reasonable idea of what the song sounds like.
